Describing Personality

A fun activity to get Ss moving and talking. With one sheet each, they get up and walk around the classroom asking questions about their classmates' physical appearance and fill in the table. As an extension, Ss could play a variation of 'guess who' using their information on their tables where they read out what they have written and other ss have to guess who it is.

Teachers can make use of this sheet to make sure that students are actively involved in providing answers to the given questions and are having fun at the same time.

I recommend to download and display a subtitle to each movie that teachers show. Teachers can pause, both the movie and subtitle, to attract students attention to a particular situation or a particular vocabulary item, which can be discussed either while the movie is being displayed or in a later, more convenient,  time.

This is a worksheet on the Chinese New Year and adjectives.

Students can use the chart to find their animal then divide the adjectives into good and bad. They also describe their own personality and look up definitions.

I looked for many crossword puzzles for this topic to make it fun for my students but couldn't find anything interesting, so here I am after 5 min of making it and I love it as well as my students. Enjoy!!

Describing people with answers

the students have to match the number with the words, the idea is that they know how the numbers are written and in the second part they have to count and say how many___ are there. so they can count and write the number.

The students are asked to fill in gaps on the descriptive text with suitable prepositions, possessive pronoun and demonstratives also translate the text after completing the gaps.
