This is a worksheet that will take students through the basics of learning articles. It allows them to fill in information while still giving examples. You may choose to supplement with extra worksheets to ensure they understand the material.

Articles Worksheet

In this exercise, students will listen to a short explanation of the main uses of articles. The teacher cuts the following sentences, and puts the slips of paper into a hat. Then the teacher plays a piece of music, while students pass the hat to one another. Once the music stops, the students reach for the slip, take it out and complete the sentence with the articles where necessary.
