Here is a set of 24 Card Game with the Smurfs (print them twice so 48 in total). Students have to ask questions and they have to choose the verb that goes with the action: play football, do archery, go swimming....Page 3 is the back of the cards. SHORT ANSWERS 2 + KEY

It's a short test I've created for my 5th Grade students on the topic: family and superheroes. I made it to cover all 5 areas of language acquisition fields: reading, vocabulary, grammar, everyday English, listening and writing.

Grammar: use of have/has got, abilities (can/can't), the possessive 's or of the.

Vocabulary: members of the family, physical appearance and personality, activities.

It also includes a writing test, where they have to describe their favourite superhero, given the clues.

Students have to recognize ability or permission in the use of can. A basic grammar exercise for elementary students or beginner high school students.
