Instructions:

1.	Put the students in groups of three or four.

2.	Each group gets two sets of cards. One with words in bold and one normal.

3.	They shuffle each set and spread each set separately, facing down.

4.	Students take turns. The first student takes one card from each set. If they match, He/she makes a sentence using however/although/but/etc.

5.	His/her groupmates should confirm the sentence is correct. If it is, he/she keeps the cards. If not, he/she puts them back.

6.	When the cards finish, the student with the most cards wins.



•	It’s a good idea to remind the Students to remember the place of the cards. It helps the game to flow smoothly.

•	Remind the students to use the correct verb tense. In most cases, simple present or simple past works.
