I usually use this activity to do a revision about Xmas symbols.

Children look at the pictures, read the words and then write the numbers next to the pictures.

There is a small space between numbers and pictures, because children can write A / AN when it's possible.

The exercise is aimed to practise the use of indefinite articles. Learners complete the gaps with a, an or - (no article) and match the pictures with the words. They draw the missing pictures.
