Alternative Passive Forms

With this worksheet students can practice acive and passive sentences. Ask students to look at the pictures and write both, the corresponding acitve as well as the passive sentence.

This is one part of a jigsaw listening to be used in conjunction with Newsflash: Aliens B. Ss watch a video, and gap fill quotes from it. The quotes on each worksheet are different for Ss A and Ss B, the following activities are the same for both sets of Ss. It can be used on the topic of news and especially to reinforce the passive voice. It's a funny video so it's a light hearted way to practise this grammar. After watching students use prompts to form the comprehension Qs in the passive voice and finally they get to create their own comical news bulletin.
