My recommendation is to use it to revise Past Simple and Past Continuous (sentence formation) before you teach your students when you should use each of them.



If you have already had a "Past Simple vs Past Continuous" lesson with your students, you can mix the sentences from the two parts of my handout and use them as practice material. Be careful however, as some of the examples are rather ambiguous without context.
