I created this worksheet to help my students understand phrasal verbs with set. It contains a picture dictionary and an exercise where students must fill in the gaps with the correct phrasal verb.

PHRASAL VERBS CONVERSATION QUESTIONS (A to J)

A complete phrasal verb project on the subject of travel. It has bingo, mix-and-match, a cloze exercise, a reading cloze exercise with story and role-play/debate. The answers are at the back along with the personality cards for the debate. I haven´t used this worksheet yet so if anybody finds any mistakes, could you send me a PM and let me know? Thanks!

Phrasal verbs - speaking

Learners should go through the menu card first. Then, there are phrases said by a customer or a waiter/waitress, where the learners should put them into the correct colomn. Last, they should write a restaurant-dialouge according to the phrases and the menu. I usually divide the class into small groups to do the exercises and create a creative dialogue and they have to do a role play (heading "at a restaurant").

Another phrasal verb worksheet with bingo, a story and debate. There is also an FCE reading and use of English practice test at the end. Answers are included. This time it is on the subject of relationships. I have looked it over for mistakes a couple of times, but you know how these things go. If there are many mistakes, please let me know and I will update it once I have corrected them. The final story needs some work, to be honest, but it serves the purpose.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets
