This worksheet provides an opportunity to practice the use of prepositions relating to time, dates, months, and seasons.  *This version corrects a misspelling and formatting issue found on the original upload.

Dates, Months, Times, and Seasons

A sheet where Ss have to write and draw their daily routine in the boxes. In the small box they write an action e.g "I have breakfast" and in the big box they draw something to accompany it. At the bottom there is an extension activity where they ask a friend what they have drawn and write it. (Made using vocabulary from Macmillan Tiger Tracks 3 unit 5)

Prepositions of time

Boardgame to practise some time expressions as well as some prepositions of time. Students work in pairs. Each student starts the game on a different "Start" square. They move forward by one square at a time. Then they talk about the topic using one (or more) of the time expressions. E.g. "When was your best friend Born"? - "She was born on the 14th of February in 1995".

Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
