This is a GUESS WHO game. Purpose: to practice how to ask personal information & to identify when should use be to ask and when should use do/does to ask. How to play: 1. divide students into 2-3 groups, and each group has 2-3 students; 2. each student should pick 1 card (pic+info); 3. the other students only can ask yes/no questions to get his/her personal information; 4. the groupmates should guess who he/she is after asking some questions.

A reading comprehension about a couple with the surname 'Christmas'. There is a true/false exercise and some comprehension questions. NOTE: in British English, we do not put a stop after Mr or Mrs, but in American English they do. Just so you know!

This is one of those 'feel good' stories that we need right now! A goose has made her nest in a train station and all the staff are helping her. I have stuck with the present simple tense for narration. They complete the exercises and maybe they can think up some names for the new arrivals. Plenty of youtube clips available: just put in 'Goose lays eggs at York station.'
