There are two exercises practising second conditional. In the first one, students have to transform the sentences from first into second conditional and in the second they have to complete the sentences in a logical way (2nd Conditional) an say  what they would do and what they wouldn’t do.

Fun activity to practise the second conditional and improve the students imagination. The objective is to fix the structure of the 2nd conditional. 

I divided the class into different groups and gave them 20 minutes to choose the items and to find arguments to defend their choice. Then they stood up and explained their choice.

The Second Conditional

This worksheet can be use to review first and second conditional. It includes the key and contains two exercises: in the first one students match the begining of a sentence with its ending, while in the second one they have to correct some sentences (this exercise can have more than one correct answer, the one given in the key is just one of the options).
