Pairs of students ask questions about an appliance  and give the answer using the information given. give the learners the opportunity to practice speaking and listening skills and asking 'wh' questions. Students should first form the questions for each item listed.

ASKING QUESTIONS

Elementary school worksheet. I use this with my Pre-A1 students. The students will practice and then ask: What is your favorite color? What is your favorite food? The adult will answer and sign their name. This gives students practice and comfortability talking to people of different ages in English. This worksheet deals with grammar, fluency, pronunciation.

Divide students into pairs. Give student  A a blue card and student B a red card.

Pairwork - At the bathroom

This is a web quest for students age 10-12. It is designed to ask questions related to a museum. They should look for the information carefully on the website. 

The solution is not added, as websites can change the information quickly. But I believe that you can find the answers to the questions easily.

Communication Exam About when, How long

Students write about their favorite hobby, food, and things they can do. Then they take turns interviewing the students around them and if they have the same interest they can write the other persons hobby/food/can do item in the circle. If the students don't have the same interests they can write that hobby outside of the circle.

 Cut out the game cards for each student.

I put them in an envelope.

 Each student gets a pack 

 Students must shuffle the cards and place them upright and place  It face down in their hands. 



On the count of three, each player reveals the WH card and try to make a full sentence   Wh question.





 The first to complete wins the card . The one with most cards is the winner. The game winners can battle it out . Last standing student is the ultimate winner!
