These resources consist of the following:
-two pages of Art works. For this I bought in Art that I had at home, including prints, a fan with a design on it and a hand painted shell and a vinyl record cover. These were handed round at the beginning of the lesson for learners to look at to spark interest and generate conversation. I then handed out pictures of them for learners to refer to for the rest of the lesson. If you can, you could bring on your own pieces of art rather than using the ones on first worksheet.
- a conversation worksheet with questions about the Art for learners to discuss in pairs.
-a vocabulary build which is designed to elicit vocabulary from learners for use in the final writing exercise.
-two differentiated writing tasks-one is a free writing and the other a scaffolded writing exercise for learners with lower levels of literacy/ESOL.
