This is a folktale from East Timor. Students read the story,
and demonstrate an understanding of vocabulary, the order of events and general comprehension of the story.

The present downloadable teaching material is best suited for at Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is valuable for teaching Adjectives, Nouns, Phrasal verbs, Past continuous (progressive) tense and Past perfect simple tense in English, and can be used for honing your pupils' Reading skills.
