This worksheet consists of 3 famous paintings and it requires the students to answer the questions based on their own thoughts on them. This may also create an opportunity to practice speaking when it is argued with friends or a teacher. I personally love speaking about paintings with my own students and they seem to have fun and open up. I hope it will do the same for you. There are no right answers to give. Use your imagination and then you can search for the story behind these paintings if you don't know about them. Titles of the paintings are given at the end.

The above printable, downloadable handout was created for at Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is valuable for revising Adverbs of time, Adjectives to describe feelings / mood / tone, Adverbs of place, Relative Clauses: Defining and Questions: Subject questions in English, and is useful for honing your pupils' Speaking skills. It is about the vocabulary topic of Actions, Feelings, emotions, People, Art and Dates.
