A worksheet is designed for young learners. It has two simple tasks to practise some basic words to describe people's and animals' appearance.

Task 1 is to fill in the gaps with the missing words which are as follows: big, small, long, short, curly, straight, beard, moustache.

Task 2 is to read the description of monster Willy and then draw him.

Students have to revise both adjectives and body vocabulary.

The above downloadable handout was created for at Beginner (pre-A1) and Elementary (A1) level. It is great for practising BE (auxiliary verb) and HAVE GOT or HAS GOT in English, and is a valuable material for working on your groups' Reading skills. It is focused on the theme of Body parts, Colours, Describing people, Face, Opposites and People.
