In groups, students roll the dice and move their game piece (eraser). They must give the instruction to the rest of the group (if they roll odd they use "don't" before the command, similar to Simon Says.)

The remaining students must follow the command, the last student goes back 1 space, if a student gets the command wrong they also move back.

The above downloadable handout is recommended for at Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is valuable for teaching Commands (imperatives) in English, and is useful for developing your pupils' Speaking skills.

I am a recent BEd grad teaching in Japan as an ALT. I teach junior high/middle school students, but it is the first 3 years of their English education. I try to make speaking focused worksheets/games, as it is the skill that lacks the most in Japanese classrooms.
