I´ve made this worksheet for beginners. It shows where to put an A before a consonant and AN before a vowel, but also the exceptions (because we know this rule isn´t really exclusive.) I hope you like it.

This printable, downloadable handout is a great resource for at Beginner (pre-A1) level. It is aimed at consolidating Consonants and vowels, Parts of Speech (aka word classes, e.g. nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs) and Prefixes (e.g. A, UN, IM, DIS, MIS, EN, etc. ) in English, and was designed for working on your pupils' Reading skills.
