This worksheet is designed to help students understand and differentiate between Type I and Type II conditionals.

Section 1: Fill out the boxes with the basic structures for Type I and Type II. This can then be used as a useful reminder for the rest of the worksheet.

Section 2: Circle the correct option (having identified if the sentence is Type I or Type II).

Section 3: Complete the sentences (having identified if the sentence is Type I or Type II).

Section 4: Complete the sentences with your own ideas (depending on if the sentence is Type I or Type II).

This downloadable worksheet is recommended for at Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is aimed at consolidating Conditionals - Mixed conditionals in English, and is useful for honing your pupils' Writing skills.
