This lesson uses the context of schools to learn how to use 'have to'/''doesn't have to' (present simple). It includes some controlled practice activities.
This is suitable for UK based ESOL learners, in particular parents with children in the UK school system.
As well as learning the target grammar, it can be incorporated into a lesson in which students learn about the UK school system.
It could be adapted to use with learners in other countries, to compare different school systems.

The present downloadable handout is intended for at Beginner (pre-A1) and Elementary (A1) level. It is great for practising MUST or HAVE TO (obligation) in English, and can be used for strengthening your class' Reading skills. It is focused on the topic and words of School.
