This worksheet aims to give plenty of practice of the Past simple and continuous tenses to B1 students. There is a logical flow of the exercises which start with the simple past and proceed with the introduction of the continuous. Later both tenses are used in order to convey the meaning of longer actions interrupted by shorter actions or 2 progressive actions happening simultaneously.

The above downloadable teaching material is recommended for at Intermediate (B1) level. It is great for revising Past continuous (progressive) tense in English, and is excellent for strengthening your groups' Writing skills.
