This story includes idioms as well as set phrasal verbs. Help your students to fill in the missing gaps using the words at the bottom of the page. Talk to them about the differences between 'setback' as a noun (we cannot go to the beach, there has been a setback.) and 'set back' as a verb (how much did those shoes set you back? (cost) and 'setup' as a noun (I love your gaming setup) and 'set up' as a verb (I have set up the game for us to start playing).

The above printable, downloadable handout is recommended for at Intermediate (B1) and Advanced (C1) level. It is great for practising Phrasal verbs in English, and is useful for honing your groups' Reading skills.
