Kevin's day

This worksheet is a reading comprehension exercise with additional focus on the Present Simple tense.
The learners are asked to read a text about a usual day of an English boy Kevin. Then they are asked questions about the text. The worksheet concludes with an exercise where students have to write how often this of that action happens in Kevin's life.
After completing this worksheet it's possible to create a discussion of attitude towards school and daily routines with more advanced students.
As for less advanced students, you can ask them to compare their day to Kevin's.

The present downloadable teaching material is intended for at Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is a useful material for revising Present simple tense: S for third person singular verbs in English, and is useful for strengthening your learners' Reading skills.

I live in Saint Petersburg, Russia. I teach English and German. Currently I give one-to-one lessons to adults only. I think that there's not enough content for this age group and for this type of lessons, so I try to fill in the gap :) I haven't got round to uploading my English worksheets yet though but I've started uploading stuff that I've created for German lessons.
