Because my students (French, 14 years old...) still think the British currency is the Dollar, or the Queen lives in the White House... So this is a quiz with pictures, showing symbols of the UK and the USA, and a chart to fill in with them to improve their general knowledge.

The above downloadable printable is best suited for at Beginner (pre-A1), Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is a useful material for consolidating Present simple tense in English, and is a valuable material for strengthening your pupils' Speaking and Writing skills. It focuses on the topic and words of United Kingdom and United States of America (USA).
