This is an easy and very fun way to understand the difference between present simple and present continuous. While watching an animated Pixar movie (I included the link of the video on the worksheet, at the very back), the students have to tell if we must use ps or pc according to what they see on the picture (ideally, the teacher stops at each question. The time related to the questions is written in the corrections, so that the teacher knows when to stop exactly. I would watch it all without stopping a first time, and then watch it again to answer the questions.).
It's important that the teacher has already explained the basic rules of present simple and present continuous before doing this worksheet.
In case you don't find the link to the video, you can reach it directly here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfyJQEIsMt0
Otherwise, look for "Partly cloudly" as it's a famous short movie; you'll find many version of it.
