This is a fill-in-the-blank activity where students choose the correct word to fill into a present simple and a present continuous sentence. Each problem gives a word written in both the present simple and present continuous tenses and a student has to decide which word fits the present simple sentence and which word fits the present continuous sentence.

The above downloadable teaching material is recommended for at Beginner (pre-A1) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is valuable for practising Present simple vs continuous (progressive) tense in English.
