Chart:Forming Questions with Question Words

Students often have difficulty forming questions. They leave out the helping verb or put the words in mixed up order. This is a chart to illustrate the correct formation of questions. It can be used as a sample to follow so that students can then create their own questions.

The present downloadable handout is recommended for high school and elementary school at Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is aimed at consolidating Questions (interrogative) and Questions: Object questions in English, and is a valuable material for developing your class' Reading skills. It includes the answer key, too.
