These are cards for your students to have as Grammar Reference when studying and practising Reported Speech. The first card contains how BACKSHIFT works and the rest contain reporting verbs and their patterns in alphabetical order for quick search.
Cut them out and laminate for long lasting and safe keeping. Punch a hole in the corner and add a binder ring. They may keep it in their coursebooks as bookmarks.

The present downloadable handout is best suited for high school and adults at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is great for practising Reported Speech (Indirect speech) and Reported speech: Reporting verbs in English, and can be used for developing your groups' Writing skills.
