The board game "There is & there are" gives the choice between the phrases at the beginning of a sentence and it is determined by the noun that follows it. Use there is when the noun is singular (“There is a car”). Use there are when the noun is plural (“There are two skeletons”).

This printable, downloadable handout is recommended for at Beginner (pre-A1) and Elementary (A1) level. It is a useful material for consolidating There is / there are / there was / there were / there will be, etc. in English, and was designed for strengthening your students' Speaking skills. It focuses on the vocabulary topic of Classroom.
