This is an activity based on Hey Jude by The Beatles.
The students listen to the song and fill in the gaps with the correct imperative.
I found the video on youtube and first played just the audio; the students then checked their answers in pairs. I then found a video with the lyrics for them to check their answers.
The links I used are on the worksheet, but you may like to find your own.
The song is nice and slow and my learners liked using song to practice the verbs.
Students need to know imperatives before doing this activity.
Please check worksheet for spelling errors. Have a good lesson! :)

This printable, downloadable handout was created for at Elementary (A1) level. It is a useful material for teaching Verb patterns in English, and was designed for developing your groups' Listening skills.
