Students must fill in the missing letters of the Carnival vocabulary words: masks, prize, dance, music, float, etc. Then students must fill in the blanks in the sentences provided with the correct Carnival word. The video shows pictures of the objects/words after the answer is revealed and includes a review section. You may want to teach the students these words before playing this game if they have a lower level of English.

this is a very good exercises for beginners. it is a text which you have to fill in with the words. words are given above the text. it helps students to think in English and practise easy grammar and words. Also there are some questions which you must answer after filling the text. There is a solution too.  

A parrot

a simple exercise of a picture description. Students have to see the picture and then describe it by using the words given in the word bank. This exercise will not only enhance their understanding of English but also helps them in creatively writing their own thoughts and imagination.

Picture Description

This activity trains students to extra information, describe a snack and review it. It contains a template that can assist students in completing the activity and there are lists of words used to describe texture and taste that they should learn to use. This activity is also available on ESL Printables.

Snack Review

A way to teach beginners irregular verbs, students begin by completing the grid following the verbs in the infinitive, past simple and past participle, they then copy the verbs into a table and finally complete the sentences using the correct verb and tense. I have put the present perfect sentences at the end so they can be omitted if the level of your students is too low.
