There are two sheets to my reading, scanning and comprehension exercise. The exercise includes speaking, listening and comprehension.



1.	An article for the student to read.

2.	A question sheet for you to read to the student.



I suggest you copy and paste into two different documents.

Send or give the article to the student to read aloud to you. Then ask the student questions from the question sheet, they’re in the same order as the article. Most of the answers are one or two words; just be aware that some students will read a whole paragraph knowing that the answer is somewhere in it. For me, that’s not good enough! 



Finally ask the student to read the article again and while you correct their pronunciation, as necessary.  



What Brits Eat Part 2

A very simple pairwork activity which will surely pick your students up with a whiff of positivity. Works not only within the 'likes/dislikes' realm, but just any time you need to deflect from the feeling of fatigue or boredom. Take to it! :)

This game is meant for kids in their elementary level of English. They will be working with present continuous and basic actions, such as playing, swimming, running, reading, etc.. Each card contains four actions. the worksheet contains five cards. at the end of the worksheet you wll find a list of the activities that describe the pictures. I use numbers from 1 to 15. Each number corresponds to an action.

This is a pre task to introduce students to Roald Dahl's video, which includes a few of his stories. It encourages students to look for the information asked by reading and answering the questions as shown.

i actually use these for the first day and print them in poster size maby A3 or 50*70 and put the on the walls students go around and answer them with sticky notes or some text sheets that i have prepared.

On the first page the students get a short overview on how to make singular nouns into pluran nouns (you might have to adjust the language). On the second page, there are some of the most used irregular plurals, they have to match up

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
