A gap fill and song to practice the past simple tense.  The lyrics have been shortened and changed to make it easier for  ESL learners.  The song is easy to play on a guitar.

I made these images to use with the Lonesome Polar Bear book by Jane Cabrera.  Read book then ask students to cut and paste images in correct order, per story sequence. Appropriate for ESL beginners in K. Differentiate by asking advanced students to write names of animals or other relevant details. Use word bank on board or add one.
