During the exam period, stress levels are higher than usual. It is a difficult time for most families, and both parents and students experience typical stress. Stress can also be beneficial in that it can help you stay motivated and focused. However, excessive stress can be harmful to one's health. Stress can leave you feeling overwhelmed, confused, exhausted, and irritable.

Avoid exam stress from kids

Ask students to choose a famous person among the photos given in this worksheet. Then students cut and glue this photo in the box and describe this person on the table. Ask students to present their famous person orally.

It's a reading comprehension task. Students have to fill in the gaps, complete the text with words and phrases, sentences.

I have made a few changes to last year's lesson and worksheet. This lesson is for ESL college juniors, and it is followed by a session of pure grammar (I will upload it later).

This contract is to be used in co-ordination with the Apartment Rental role play for improving ESL students english. There are two roles, renter and Apartment owner. Students get to choose rent fees , start and end dates, and contract dates. It is good for student involvement. Has worked well for me in the past with adult and University ( Korean students with low to intermediate ESL skills.

Pre-listening tasks include several discussion questions, then there is a fill-the-gap listening activity followed by a discussion on WHAT the song is about. There is also a finish-the sentence-in-your-own-words activity which leads to sentence transformation and revision of conditionals (optional).
