A selection of English ESL printables with intermediate (b1)

This contract is to be used in co-ordination with the Apartment Rental role play for improving ESL students english. There are two roles, renter and Apartment owner. Students get to choose rent fees , start and end dates, and contract dates. It is good for student involvement. Has worked well for me in the past with adult and University ( Korean students with low to intermediate ESL skills.

Australian comedy/mockumentary series Kath and Kim worksheet.   To go with the first episode, available on Netflix.  The title of the episode is "Sex" and there is some racy language so only appropriate for adult learners.

I made this lesson as a follow up to "The Tradition of 5 o'clock Tea" lesson. The text is an extract from the website of the company called The Tea Terrace. It is a good lesson for discussing this aspect of British culture and also learning some marketing vocabulary. It includes an exercise on phrasal verbs.
