This is a digital diary but it is not a regular one. The objective of this worksheet is to be a motivating source of varied ideas for students to create a personalised and atypical diary in a digital format since they will include writing, listening, speaking and reading entries. It was created during the lockdown period for my intermediate and upper-intermediate students as a fun way to integrate practice for different skill, tailoring their needs and preferences. I asked them to make at least two entries a week over an 8-week period. 

Digital Diary

Song worksheet to refresh past simple (including irregular forms) and improve listening skills. Let students read the lyrics first and answer the question on the bottom of the page (general understanding). Then give them few minutes to put verbs in past in the gaps without listening. They also have to choose the right word in bold and underline it. Listen to the song checking verb forms and words in bold.
