Proverbs II. (Pt 1/2) Proverb Game

The idea here is that before teaching proverbs, I try to get students interested by allowing them to play around with the sentence beginnings. Tell them to create their very own proverbs from the prompts in a freestyle way. It´s a good idea to encourage them to create not just wise ones, but funny ones, too. Having fun will increase their motivation even more. By letting Ss make up their own proverbs, they´ll be in a much more open state of mind to receive the "real" proverbs, because of the fun they had in the first game. Bless up, Kisdobos :)

This downloadable teaching material is recommended for high school at Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. The exercises come with the answer key.
