This was a quiz I created for a group of students after studying material types, what they feel like, and word order. While learning about metals, we also learned what kinds are magnetic. We talked about how a compass works in brief terms, which you see reflected in the quiz. At the beginning is a section on phonics listening and some question words and key phrases that we have also been revising throughout the course.

This sheet contains a brainstorming about all the jobs you want and the adjectives about your given jobs. They can be pros and cons. There's also an exercise using the brainstorming. The aim is your students write and talk about jobs.

A worksheet to work on adjectives. The student can come up with his own noun and set of adjectives to go with it. 

I'm working with a really heterogenous class so students with greater difficulties will use at least one adjective, the others will try to use two or three adjectives to describe their noun.

Originally this activity was designed to practise the rudiments of Reported Speech, but in reality you can 'tuck' it into any topic you wish. A mixed bag of simple questions should give  your students a delicate boost especially when you tread through some more complex issues.

Not exactly a time machine, but if you work with elementary students, this activity might be a useful combination of grammar and speaking practice. Short and concise, it will allow you to add an extra word on prepositions + religious festivals and as well as some longer stretches of time. Still, you will be able to finish your lesson on the dot of the hour :)

Go Fish with 24 different kitchen objects and utensils 



The aim of Go Fish is to collect the most pairs

•	Deal 3 or 4 cards to each player and leave the rest in a pile face down on the table. 

•	The starting player asks one other player for a card that matches one in their hand. e.g. “Do you have the whisk?” 

o	If the other player does not have the card, they reply "No, go fish", and the asker picks up a card from the pile.

o	If the player asked does have the matching card, they give it to the player who requested it.

•	Play then moves on to the next person and continues until all cards are paired. 

•	The winner is the player with the most pairs or the first to have no cards left.
