Participle constructions

The worksheet seeks to develop students’ speaking and listening skills in business and/or professional settings. The video-based tasks introduce common strategies and give tips on the ways employees can use to ask their bosses for a pay rise. The assignment contains dialogues acted out by an employee and an employer, and students focus on the language patterns and vocabulary they can use to get their point across and achieve their goal in business communication.
