B5 Paper. My students have a really hard time distinguishing between Fun or Funny and when to use -ed v. -ing. Of course there are many ways to use these, but I created a simple rule guide with the most common uses for my students to follow.

Learners complete the worksheet by listening to the songs and filling in the gaps/checking their answers.



12 songs are featured in the worksheet with at least one example of either an 'ed' adjective or an 'ing' adjective in each song. The list of songs can be found in the video description.



The activity can be made more difficult or less difficult by adding or removing gaps in the song lyrics.

'ED' and "ING" adjectives in songs (worksheet, video and answer key)

This worksheet is designed for **A2-level students** according to the CEFR framework. It focuses on **participial adjectives (-ed vs. -ing forms)**, helping students distinguish between adjectives that describe feelings (**bored, tired, stressed**) and those that describe the cause of those feelings (**boring, tiring, stressful**). This worksheet is meant for students learning the present perfect continuous. Write a present perfect continuous sentence in the blank using the words listed next to each number.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
