This is a ‘spot the  mistake’  worksheet using a song as a means of bringing  authentic language to the English class. Although it deals with listening and speaking most of the time, it´s supposed to provide reading, writing, listening and speaking practice.  You can change the tasks according to your aims. A key is included. They lyrics were based on the version presented on the TV (Jimmy Fallon show) because, in my view, it was more appropriate to my teen students than the original version (see the link on the first page).

This is based off of a youtube video about the slow evolution of fan made Lego movies that eventually became the now famously popular LEGO MOVIE. The URL is at the top of the sheet. This is meant for a listening and speaking class. You can put this in a week with a theme of toys, film, creativity, or simply entertainment.



Allow plenty of time for this one. It's definitely for upper intermediate to advanced students and is meant for middle school up through college.



There is some technical vocabulary that you might have to go over after the first run through. You can also rewind and replay certain clips.

When you go for a walk, it often generates a good talk. Here are two task cards to hand out to your students that they can use when they go for a walk and at the same time get new knowledge about their walk buddy.

This form consists of a template for students to use when they are listening politely to a classmate's presentation. Using this form to assess behavior/listening skills during presentations will help keep students on task, as each form will be graded and you can assign points to ensure students listen with respect to a classmate's presentation.  



Presenters are pre-informed that their presentation must include at least three facts for their classmates to record.
