This is a set of 3 charts for sts to draw different shops/places in their town. Once all your sts have their own card, let`s play a bingo game!!

Bingo Time!

This is a bingo game to rehearse the clock times.



Materials:

- one game board for the game leader (included)

- A game sheet for each player (24 included)

- stones 9 stones/buttons/... for each player (to put on the squares) 

- 28 buttons/ stones for the game leader to put on his board on each square he has read.

This took forever to put together, but it was SO worth it! 



Includes 3 Bingo cards and 17 Role-play cards. 

I make everything in Open Office and then convert to Doc.. so check that everything looks right before using. 



Start the class with the 7 target questions on the board. 

I have the students ask me the questions and I answer them with the target answers. 

Students ask each other the questions in pairs, then report their partner's responses if there's time. 



Then I give the role-play cards. Students might need help with some pronunciations  You might have to teach "Spouse, Swahili, Unemployed, and Household."

 

Next I hand out the Bingo cards… I explain how to play by having students ask me the questions (I use the Taxi Driver card).  Go around and help them look for the info on their cards.  They figure it out quickly. 



Now students stand up and play!  Monitor for correct target language… 

I folded the top of the paper where the questions are when it looked like the students had started to memorize the questions. 



Once students have a BINGO (5 up and down, 5 left to right, or 5 across) they can sit down. They don't have to ask questions, but they still have to answer. 



After everyone has a BINGO, I have the students make sentences with their winning squares… ____ is a _____, ____ lives in_____, etc… 



This lesson was designed for 1 hour class of adult (mixed) beginners and a 2 hour class of (pre) beginners.  



7 Questions Talking Bingo with Role-play Cards

 its a game i use to revise times under the form of bingo there are 18 different bingo cards and the teachers bingo sheet hope its useful

A simple bingo game to learn Halloween related words. Children have to choose pictures and tick for example five of the words. When the teacher says a ticked word, children have to circle the picture. The one whose words have been said by the teacher first ist the winner. 



Tips: Instead of saying just words the teaher can also tell "a story"/sentences related to Halloween including the words of the game. If wanted, you can use the same game board for several rounds; just take a new pen with a different colour for each round. You can also make the children to repeat the word after you during the game, so it becomes a pronunciation exercise at the same time.

Halloween Bingo Game

Again another set of card game series. This time numbers 1-20. Good for a matching activity or playing  play bingo, memo or a poster. If you want it to last longer you should laminate it.

What´s the time?-BINGO

Another card game which has  multiple uses.  After cutting, the cards can be used to match , play bingo, memo games. Again- it's good advice to laminate the cards. This way you can use them many times. 

Personal pronouns and possessive adjectives

Another phrasal verb worksheet with bingo, a story and debate. There is also an FCE reading and use of English practice test at the end. Answers are included. This time it is on the subject of relationships. I have looked it over for mistakes a couple of times, but you know how these things go. If there are many mistakes, please let me know and I will update it once I have corrected them. The final story needs some work, to be honest, but it serves the purpose.
