Simple way to practice vocabulary related to countries, nationalities, flags and languages. Divide your students into teams of 4 and have them compete against each other to complete the worksheet. You might want to set a timer as well to make it more of a challenge and increase the fun!

A writing exercise geared toward children that elicits for different colors, names of continents and names of countries. For whatever flags I put in the document, I usually make a simple powerpoint slide that has full color pictures of the flags so that the students can have a visual cue. Sometimes I verbally elicit the color words and write them on the board to help with spelling or to give support. This is a simple guided practice and with the coloring component, encourages the kids to interact with this worksheet.

A very fun quiz where you have to fill in the missing verb forms. Then through a description you have to match with the verb forms. On the second page there is a great exercise where you find the participle of the verbs and then complete the crosswords.

After a brainstorm of the teams taking part in this year's world cup, pupils first colour in the flags (with the help of a colour picture with all the flags projected on the screen) and then match the flags with the names of the teams in their different qualifying groups by puting the correct flag number next to the name of the country (team).
