A writing exercise geared toward children that elicits for different colors, names of continents and names of countries. For whatever flags I put in the document, I usually make a simple powerpoint slide that has full color pictures of the flags so that the students can have a visual cue. Sometimes I verbally elicit the color words and write them on the board to help with spelling or to give support. This is a simple guided practice and with the coloring component, encourages the kids to interact with this worksheet.
