Board game - giving advice

This worksheet was in response to my students wanting to give me advice when I was feeling sick. In this worksheet your student will be able to use vocabulary to give fictional (maybe real) people advice. 



Before you use this worksheet you should already make a large vocabulary list for the students to reference. Have fun with it.

This worksheet is designed for **A1-A2 level students** (13-14 years old) and focuses on **modals for giving advice**, such as **should, must, mustn't, and ought to**. Using the relatable and practical theme of surviving an earthquake, the activities provide students with opportunities to practice these modals in context. Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
