Practice and use prepositions of place to describe the position of things.
 This worksheet is best used for grade 3-4 students to help improve English language.

Prepositions of places - Grade 3-4

A board for revising irregular verbs through a game of draughts.



You will need 12 pieces for each of the players (different colours for each of them). Students play a normal game of draughts (8x8 version), but to put their piece on a given square, they have to provide the Past Simple and Past Participle of the verb in that square.



If my suggestions for the verbs do not correspond with the list you have asked your students to memorise, feel free to make changes to the board. The handout is fully editable.



Note: the exercise can be rather time-consuming.

You can use this worksheet with children in preschool. If they can\'t read, you just delete the written part.
