A board for revising irregular verbs through a game of draughts.



You will need 12 pieces for each of the players (different colours for each of them). Students play a normal game of draughts (8x8 version), but to put their piece on a given square, they have to provide the Past Simple and Past Participle of the verb in that square.



If my suggestions for the verbs do not correspond with the list you have asked your students to memorise, feel free to make changes to the board. The handout is fully editable.



Note: the exercise can be rather time-consuming.
