This is a one-and-a-half to two-hour class that starts with an article in the style of a Cambridge exam (reading and of English part 1). After that, a reading comprehension section. On page three, there is a video lesson with the YouTube video link provided. Once that is done, there is a picture and vocabulary section. The answer key is at the back, as always.

This worksheet is aimed at practising grammar and vocabulary skills in using phrasals with LOOK. The worksheet contains some meanings of the verb and five exercises to train the usage of the verbs with LOOK.

Phrasal verbs with LOOK

A complete project that should take about 3 hours to do. First, there is a mix and match exercises. This is followed by bingo (which is placed at the back) then a small cloze exercise. After that there is a story with gaps. Once that has been done there is a debate related to the story. I usually tell students that they have to try and use the phrasal verbs while debating. Answers are included. If you live in the kind of place where drugs and sex workers cannot be discussed in a sensible manner with young adults, then this may not be appropriate. I would set the age-limit at 14, if I were in the UK. You'll have to make that call according to the local culture.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
