A tourist needs to get from Seoul Train station to the Incheon Airport. This role play describes how to get from Seoul Station to the Incheon ( Seoul)  Airport. 

Role play. Lost at Seoul Station

A lovely picture with some exercises focusing on the present continuous tense and prepositions of place. They have to put the verb into the present continuous tense and then do a match up - they have to say which person is being described. They then do the T/F questions and add 'ing' to the verb stem. There is a full key.

They match the sentence to the picture and then they complete s true or false activity. On page 2, they say what is unsafe and what they should be doing. So, this sheet can be used for beginners or intermediates. Full key on page 3.

My second TV Adjectives exercise. This one starts the same way as my exercises for SWOT analysis and the job-search worksheets but it also has a debate at the end with debating cards included. Good practice for students of business English or geeks that love TV shows. There is an answer key for the final mix and match exercise but everything is pretty subjective. Be prepared to field questions on vocab after each student reads their sections aloud in class.

They spot the differences and explain them. First, they complete the exercises: decide which picture is being described and answer the questions. There is a full key included. 

Spot the difference exercise: At the police station

The aim is to have the students interacting. They ask for information in the Gare du Nord in Paris. One is a traveller and another is a SNCF advisor. They want to know where the underground station is, where the Eurostar to London departs, where they can get a train ticket etc.

This is a reading exercise to practise basic structures. They read the sentences and decide which picture is being described. These are very busy pictures, so they can then write some sentences themselves. NOTES: a canal boat is called a narrow boat. The path by the canal is called the towpath. We can say railway station, but the term is more usually train station.

A2 level reading for a business class or adults. I have included a mixed style of questions ( for a bit of a change), some discussion questions and some points for advantages and disadvantages that I gave to my students before the discussion to give them some ideas.

Give and follow directions on a map

Ss have to recognize the different buildings in a town. Then they have to give the directions or write the questions for the given answers. After that they can ask about other places. For example, you´re in front of the station. You´re hungry and want to buy some food. Ask someone where the supermarket is. etc. It´s editable. I hope you like it and find it useful!
