This list is a modification of the existing one (link below). I wanted my rules to be 1) readable enough 2) universal 3) more or less understandable 4) editable for other users



If the students cannot understand them because of the language complexity, you can do as I do: hang the sheet on the wall, pick the first three rules, translate them into your tongue and have them write your translations down. Repeat the routine for the following rules at the start of the next lesson.

Here are the exercises to practice the modal verbs must/ mustn't/ have to/ don't have to/ should in different situations. 

It consists of three tasks: fill the gaps with right verb, write the rules and manners under each picture and one creative task to imagine your own society with your own rules.

DEGREE OF COMPARISON is one of gramatical rules where the students must understand, there are three kinds of degree of comparison should you know; first is positive degree second is comparative degree and the last is superlative  degree;

Writing an Introduction to an Essay

Practice 'to be" with your younger students. There is the rule and three exercises. Students practice "am, is, are" forms of the verb "to be", read and complete a short text and write about themselves.

Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
