Revolving around Sports, this set of Taboo Cards requires pupils to work in groups of 3 or more. Naturally, mimes and gestures are not allowed as communicative 'props' as pupils describe the sitcom on their card. A teacher may optionally join the group with a copy of the game to help, should communicative problems arise as a result of restricted lexical options. In that regard, the cards are numbered to facilitate communication between the teacher and the student. As always, the worksheet is fully editable.
Other pedagogical goals
Students are required to be creative in their description of the respective sport. Their descriptions are likely to provoke laughter in class.
